Holes

Stanley Yelnat is a fairly normal boy who has bad luck for which he blames his "no-good-dirty-rotten pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather". Stanley is wrongly blamed for the theft of a pair of sneakers, and is therefore sent to a juvenile center in the desert where he is forced to dig holes all day.
